Andres Olesk, Chairman of the Management Board of Valga Puu, said that he was surprised by the decision of the Swedes to sell both the local companies and the entire forest land together with them. As the offered real estates were located mainly in Southern Estonia, ie, in an area suitable for Valga Puu, the company decided to participate in the auction. Mr Olesk could not estimate how many companies participated in the international tender. All parties are not able to disclose the amount of the transaction.
